Dr. Abhisek Sethy joined the institution in July 2025 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He has obtained his B.Tech degree from Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha, and M.Tech degree from Institute of Technical Education and Research(ITER), Sikha O Anusandhan (SOA) University. He has received his Ph.D from College of Engineering & Technology (CET), presently Odisha University of Technology & Research (OUTR), Odisha. He has more than 12 years of teaching and research experience in various Engineering Colleges and universities. He has published multiple research articles in International Journals, international and national conferences, and book chapters of high repute. His research interests include Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Soft Computing.

Dr. Kabita Patel joined the institution in september 2023 as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur in 2023. She has six years teaching experience. Her research interest includes pattern recognition and machine learning, data mining, and soft computing. She has published many research papers in internationally reputed journals and conferences.

He joined the institution in October 2012 as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. He has also served as an Associate System Engineer in IBM India Pvt. Ltd. He pursued his B.Tech. in Information Technology from Berhampur University, Odisha, M.Tech. from PESIT, Bangalore, and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from VSSUT, Burla, Odisha. He has published many papers in international journals and conferences. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Cloud Computing, and Machine Learning.

Dr. Munmun Saha joined the institution in July 2025 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She has obtained his B.Tech. degree from BCET, Durgapur, West Bengal and M. Tech. degree from GCECT, Kolkata. She perused her M. Phil. from Sambalpur University and obtained Ph. D. degree from VSSUT, Burla. She has published many research papers in International journals and conferences. She has 3 years of teaching experience in different universities. Her research interests include Cloud Computing, Data Structure, Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Sohan Kumar Pande joined the institution in June 2025 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He has obtained his B.Tech. degree from CVRCE, Bhubaneswar, and M. Tech. degree from SUIIT, Burla. He completed his Ph. D. from VSSUT, Burla. He has published many research papers in International journals and conferences. He has more than 13 years of teaching experience. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Vehicular Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Machine Learning.

Dr. Pradhan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SUIIT. With a distinguished academic background, she holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from Sambalpur University, complemented by an M.Tech from IIIT Bhubaneswar and a B.Tech from the College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar.
Bringing 11 years of comprehensive teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Dr. Pradhan specializes in multiple domains including Time Series Forecasting, Software Engineering, Cryptography & Network Security, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.

Dr. Tusharkanta Samal holds a B.Tech degree from DRIEMS and earned his M.Tech and Ph.D. from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, India. With over eight years of teaching experience and more than five years of dedicated research, he has published more than 30 articles in reputed international journals and conferences.
Dr. Samal has successfully qualified for both the GATE and UGC-NET examinations conducted by the Government of India. He has played a key role in organizing numerous international conferences, faculty development programs (FDPs), and other academic events. Additionally, he has edited three books published by renowned international publishers, adding further distinction to his academic and professional accomplishments.

Mr. Bijay Srinibas Nag joined the institution in July 2025 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He has obtained his MCA degree from College of Engineering and Technology (now OUTR), under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, and M. Tech. degree from Odisha University of Technology and Research, (formerly College of Engineering and Technology) Bhubaneswar. He has more than 12 years of teaching and research experience in different Engineering colleges and Universities. He has published research papers in international journals and conferences. His research interests include Compiler Design, Data Structures and Algorithm Analysis, Programming Languages, and Machine Learning.

Mr. Kunal Mishra joined the institution in September 2023 as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. He is pursuing his Doctoral degree (Ph.D) in Computer Science and Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla. He has completed his M.Tech from SUIIT and also awarded the Gold Medal for outstanding academic performance in the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program at Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur. His research interests include Image Processing, Machine learning and Deep learning models.

He has joined the institution on August, 2010 as Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. He pursued his B.E. in CSE degree from BPUT, Odisha in 2004, M.Tech. in IT degree from Tezpur University, Assam, and currently pursuing his Ph.D. in CSE from Sambalpur University, Odisha. He has more than 16 years of teaching experience in U.G. and P.G. engineering disciplines. His specializations are Optimization Algorithms, Machine Learning, Wireless Sensor Networks, Databases, and Data Structures.

Mr. Preetam Patel joined Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT) in July 2025 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He brings with him over 3 years of teaching experience in the field of computer science.

He holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, and a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from SUIIT, Burla. His areas of Interest include Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Web Application Penetration Testing, Database Management Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, Machine Learning.

Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE, SUIIT. She has done B.Tech & M.tech in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Burla. Currently, She is pursuing Ph.D in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla. She has 2.5 year of experience in teaching. The main area of research include Image Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

Ms. Sudeshna Pattnaik is currently working as an assistant professor in the department of Computer Science Engineering & Application, SUIIT. She has completed her M.Tech in Computer Science and engineering from VSSUT, burla and now she is continuing her Ph.D. in VSSUT, Burla. She is 3years experienced in academics. Her research interest includes Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Soft Computing and database.

Dr. Sudarson Jena holds a M.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru University of Technology (JNTU), Hyderabad and Ph. D degree from Sambalpur University, Odisha. He has more than twenty-one years of teaching, research and administrative experience. Have guided 32 PG dissertation thesis, 7 Ph.D thesis and currently guiding 6 more. Have 80+ publications in journals, book chapters and Conference proceedings. Filed 4 in inter-disciplinary patents. He serves as an editorial board member and reviewer of various reputed international journals published by Springer, Elsevier, ACM etc. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Life Member of Computer Society of India (CSI), Association of Indian Science Congress and ISTE and Senior member of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology. He is associated with SUIIT from 2017 and is currently working as Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering and Application. His areas of interest include Parallel and Distributed Computing, Performance and Reliability analysis of Interconnection Networks, High Dimension data, Machine learning, Soft Computing and Big data Analytics.
