The M. Sc (Electronics) is a 2 years programme. This degree is designed to address theoretical foundation, practical relevance and the real life problem solving to meet increasing demands on fast growing field of Electronics. To achieve this, the programme is delivered using classroom lectures, laboratory sessions, assignments, student seminars, mini projects and lectures by invited experts and major research / industry projects. The academic programme is organized in a progressive manner covering, Foundation, Core, Electives and Project.

Eligibility
Candidates having passed the following degrees from Sambalpur University or any equivalent examination from a UGC recognized University:
- (i) B.Sc. Hons. in Physics/Electronics/IST with Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Chemistry/ IST as Pass subject,
- OR B. Sc. in Electronics / Information Technology / B. E., B. Tech. in Electronics / Information Technology/ Electrical Engg. and Allied subjects with 45% marks in aggregate
- OR Physics/Electronics as pass subject with any one or more of the following subjects – Chemistry,
Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science and IST with 45% mark in aggregate.
Selection
The selection will be done on the basis of career and written with 30% and 70% weightage respectively. Absence of a candidate in written examination will disqualify him/her for admission
