About the Department

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was formed in the year 2011 with an intake capacity of 60 students in B.Tech. in ECE, 30 students in M.Tech. with specialization Embedded System Design and Communication System Engineering, and 30 students in M.Sc. in Electronics. The department is well equipped with different laboratory setup for the curriculum activities as well as for facilitating the students a platform for instigating their ideas. The faculty members are nurturing young minds in the contemporary globalized environment where the demand is for innovation, research and technical skill of international standard. The department has unique advantage in its ability to maintain academically acclaimed programs in different technical disciplines while remaining small enough for close student-faculty interactions. In addition, the faculty members are exploring in the research areas of VLSI design, Communication, Signal / Image Processing, AI/ML implementations in agriculture, and Disease identification.
