The Anti-Ragging Committee of SUIIT serves as the oversight and advising body for maintaining a ragging-free culture on the college campus. The primary goals of the committee include to educate the students on the perverse nature of ragging and its inherent dehumanising impact, to keep a close eye on ragging and be vigilant about it in order to stop it from happening and happening again, to deal with any ragging occurrences that have come to our attention quickly and strictly, to instil a culture of discipline by making it very apparent that no act of ragging would be condoned and that any such conduct will not go unreported and unpunished.

Punishment for those proven responsible

Any student or group of students who are found to have engaged in ragging on campus or even off campus will be subject to one or more of the following penalties.

• Being prohibited from taking any internal exams or semester exams.

• Suspension from class attendance and academic rights.

• Being expelled from college.

• Revocation of admission Results being withheld.
