He received the M.Tech. degree in power system engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur, India, in 2016. Currently he is pursuing his PhD. Degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur, India. He joined in Meghalaya Cement Limited, Meghalaya, India, as an Assistant Engineer In 2012. Currently he is working as Asst.Professor in SUIIT. He has both teaching and research experience of more than 5 years and industry experience of 2 years.
Mr. Kunal Mishra joined the institution in September 2023 as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. He is pursuing his Doctoral degree (Ph.D) in Computer Science and Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla. He has completed his M.Tech from SUIIT and also awarded the Gold Medal for outstanding academic performance in the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program at Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur. His research interests include Image Processing, Machine learning and Deep learning models.
He has joined the institution on August, 2010 as Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. He pursued his B.E. in CSE degree from BPUT, Odisha in 2004, M.Tech. in IT degree from Tezpur University, Assam, and currently pursuing his Ph.D. in CSE from Sambalpur University, Odisha. He has more than 16 years of teaching experience in U.G. and P.G. engineering disciplines. His specializations are Optimization Algorithms, Machine Learning, Wireless Sensor Networks, Databases, and Data Structures.
Completed B. Sc. (Engg.) in Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering from UCE Burla (Now known as VSSUT) in 1987. Worked as Asst. Manager in Konark Television Limited from 1987 to 2001. Then joined to Academics in 2005 Completed my M. Tech in Communication System Engineering. from VSSUT Burla in 2009.
I have completed my M.Tech from VSSUT, Burla . I am pursuing my Ph.D from VSSUT, Burla. My area of research includes application of Machine Learning Techniques for Biomedical and Genomics signal processing.
