
Dr. Shaswat Chirantan
Dr. Shaswat Chirantan received the PhD. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur in 2025. He received the M.Tech. degree in power system engineering from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, India, in 2018. Dr. Chirantan obtained the B.Tech. degree from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang, Odisha, India, in 2012. In 2012, He joined Vedanta Limited, Goa, India, as a Senior Engineer. His research interests are on power system operation & control, model predictive control, power system stability, machine drives and FACTS controllers. He has both teaching and research experience of 6 years and industry experience of 4 years. He has contributed his research articles in many reputed journals and in various national and international conferences and book chapters.
