About Anti-Ragging Cell
The Anti-Ragging Committee of SUIIT serves as the oversight and advising body for maintaining a ragging-free culture on the college campus. The primary goals of the committee include:
- To educate the students on the perverse nature of ragging and its inherent dehumanising impact
- To keep a close eye on ragging and be vigilant about it in order to stop it from happening and happening again
- To deal with any ragging occurrences that have come to our attention quickly and strictly
- To instil a culture of discipline by making it very apparent that no act of ragging would be condoned and that any such conduct will not go unreported and unpunished

Being prohibited from taking any internal exams or semester exams

Suspension from class attendance and academic rights

Anti-Ragging Committee
Any student or group of students who are found to have engaged in ragging on campus or even off campus will be subject to strict disciplinary action as per UGC regulations and institute policies.
UGC Directive: Ragging is a criminal offense as per the Supreme Court of India. Any student found guilty of ragging will face severe punishment including expulsion and legal proceedings.
