With reference to office order number : 360/SUIIT, dated 4.5.2021 (refering letter number DHE, Odisha 1927/HE, dated 4.5.2021) all the scheduled upcoming online examination are cancelled. The revised schedule will be announced soon.

Guidelines for Online Midterm/Endterm Examination

Registration

  • To access the website – https://lms.suiit.ac.in
  • To access Login form – Click on Login in the top right corner.
  • Students & Faculty need to register by clicking on the SUIIT email address” button on the login page and choosing their SUIIT email address.
  • For the students who have passed out earlier, the login will be active only after the registration is approved by the Examcell, SUIIT.
  • For the 1st time, the user has to click on the confirmation link sent to the SUIIT mail
  • After registration, the user can directly log into the website by clicking the SUIIT email address” and choosing their SUIIT email address.

Important points

Accessing the Mid/End Term examinations

As the Mid Term/End term examinations going to be conducted, there are few important points you should keep in mind

  1. Make sure you have adequate data balance in the device you are using 
  2. Also, make sure the device also has enough charge or power supply.
  3. Google Chrome is always preferred either on a Laptop or phone.
  4. Login to the exam website (MOODLE server) directly – https://lms.suiit.ac.in at least 30 minutes before the start time of your exam to avoid congestion at the start of the exam.
  5. Don’t login in from multiple devices, which might cause you to get blocked from the quiz.
  6. To get a feel you can access the Mock Test below Assessment under the Demonstration Quiz
  7. Before starting the quiz make sure you don’t have any running background process which might interrupt your quiz.
  8. Don’t attend or receive a call during the Quiz duration
  9.  Type of question 
    1. Multiple Choice (MC with a single answer)
    2. True/False, 
    3. Match the column/Choose the corresponding answer
  10. On the date and time  of your midterm exam click on the Subject and access “1st midterm”/”2nd midterm” to start the Quiz
    1. You have 30 questions in 1 hr and you can navigate to any questions you want within the stipulated time.
    2. The Countdown timer will tell you the amount of time you are left.
    3. If you finish the quiz within the hour click on the Finish attempt and Submit to submit the quiz
    4. In case you are unable to finish within the hour, the Quiz will auto-submit 
    5. After submission, your attempt will be available after the quiz closes.
    6. Marks can be displayed by click on Grades after the last exams are over (Date will be notified).
  11. The End Term examination will be carried out in two sections. (Section A and section B). Both sections are compulsory.
    1. Total Time for both section A and B is 3 Hours.
    2.  One mark question 60 numbers (50 to be answered, in Section A) and Two mark question 30 numbers (25 to be answered, in Section B)
      1. Total Mark 1×50+2×25 = 100
      2. However, the mark obtained out of 100 will be converted to out of 60 (as the total end semester examination mark is 60)
    3. On the date and time  of your exam click on the Subject and access “End term” to start the Quiz
      1. You can navigate to any questions you want within the stipulated time.
      2. The Countdown timer will tell you the amount of time you are left.
      3. If you finish the quiz within the time limit click on the Finish attempt and Submit to submit the quiz
      4. In case you are unable to finish within the time limit, the Quiz will auto-submit 
      5. After submission, your attempt will be available after the quiz closes.
      6. Marks can be displayed by click on Grades after the last exams are over.

This is for information of all students concerned that, the following Examinations for Odd Semester 2020 will be conducted as per the following schedule:

Guidelines for SUIIT Entrance Examination – 2020

Instruction to Candidates appearing, SUIIT Entrance-2020 

  1. The examination will be held on 20 – 21 October 2020 as mentioned in the brochure.
  2. Only eligible candidates can appear in the examination. The list of eligible candidates will be available on the SUIIT website (www.suiit.ac.in) by 19th October 2020.
  3. The link to online examinations will be sent to your registered mail by 19th October 2020. The link will be open exactly at the time mentioned in the prospectus. You can log in to your Gmail account: 
    1. On the date and time of your exam click on the link (sent to your mail). 
    2. Enter your basic details like Index id, registered e-mail id, name, phone number, etc. on page 1. Press ‘Next’ button to go to page-2 to appear the questions. 
    3. The index id will be displayed in the notice of eligible candidates (refer point 2.) 
    4. You can appear your examination on page 2 after validating the above information on page 1. If you don’t press the ‘Submit’ button after completion of answers before the end time, your answers will be deleted from the database as there is no auto-submit option. Please ensure to press the ‘Submit’ button before the end time.
    5. The total number of questions is 35 and each carries 2 marks, the total mark is 70. There is no negative marking for any wrong answers. 
    6. The total time duration of the examination is 1 hour.
    7. Type of questions may be:
      1. Multiple Choice type questions 
      2. true/false, 
      3. Match the column/Choose the corresponding answer
    8. You can appear the exam using your smartphone/laptop. Make sure you have adequate data balance in the device you are using. Also, make sure the device also has enough charge or power supply.
  4. Google Chrome is always preferred either in Laptop or phone.
  5. Before starting the examination make sure you don’t have any running background process in your device, which might interrupt your examination.
  6. Don’t attend or receive a call during the examination.

Notification: List of Students Allowed/Not Allowed for Back paper/ Improvement Examination, May-2020

Kindly find the attachment contains list of students allowed / not allowed for Back-paper/Improvement examination, May 2020. The students whose name appears in the Not Allowed list (Section-B of the notice) can’t appear in the examination, in the respective subject(s). As per rule students with “Absent” or “I” grade (due to shortage of attendance) can only appear the supplementary examination to improve the grade affter fulfilling required attendance.  For more details see the attachment herewith.
In case of any conflict or problem, inform the examination Cell, immediately.
